First demonstration competition! A great success at the World Championships in Paris!

The premiere was a great success: 36 athletes from 18 nations inspired the spectators with their performances at the first demonstration competition for people with disabilities in the history of the WKF.
Ray Morcomb excites 17.000 spectators in Paris It was the reward for his sensational win at the first demonstration competition in Paris: On Friday Ray Morcomb was allowed to show his kata Unsu, in front of an arena which was sold out, again.
Paralympic gold medalist visit first Disbilities Demonstration PARIS. For the first demonstration competition for Disabilities Michael Billmann organized the visit of the Paralympic gold medalist mix pair rowling David Smith and the member of the Great Britain winter olympic team, Ryan Freckleton.

SERBIA OPEN 2012 – "From handicap to happy end"

The Open Karate Championship of Serbia named "From handicap to happy end 2012" for persons with disabilities was held in Zrenjanin on 1th of December 2012, with total of 25 athletes from Serbia and Bosnia and Hercegovina.
The competition was succesfully organized by Karate Club Zrenjanin and Karate Associtation of Vojvodina under the auspecies of KBC bank, Dijamant company, DP Stil and Mile Dragic production.
Doctor Ivan Lukic was in charge for medical issues during the competition and Referees Mr.Jon Petresku, Mr.Jasa Grujin and Mr.Nikola Skoric were in charge for tatami justice.

Results:

First place: Zlata Bogavac, Mikloš Mezei, Miša Dimić, Imre Lakatoš, Svetlana Radosavljev, Denis Kasumović, Filip Milošević, Vasilije Turčinović and Dragan Stanojevic.
Second place: Edis Kasumović, Dragana Stankov, Nikola Jacić and Stevica Stajić.
Third place: Ivan Fodor, Igor Tomić, Branka Zvekan, Maja Bokić, Željko Gagić, Nenad Stanojević, Boba Pinter and Stevica Vuković.
