First demonstration competition! A great success at the World Championships in Paris!

The premiere was a great success: 36 athletes from 18 nations inspired the spectators with their performances at the first demonstration competition for people with disabilities in the history of the WKF.
Ray Morcomb excites 17.000 spectators in Paris It was the reward for his sensational win at the first demonstration competition in Paris: On Friday Ray Morcomb was allowed to show his kata Unsu, in front of an arena which was sold out, again.
Paralympic gold medalist visit first Disbilities Demonstration PARIS. For the first demonstration competition for Disabilities Michael Billmann organized the visit of the Paralympic gold medalist mix pair rowling David Smith and the member of the Great Britain winter olympic team, Ryan Freckleton.

SERBIA OPEN 2011 - "From handicap to happy end"

slideshow-serbiaopenThe Open Karate Championship of Serbia named "From handicap to happy end 2011" for persons with disabilities was held in Zrenjanin on 3th of December 2011, with total of 33 athletes from: Belgrade, Novi Sad, Zrenjanin, Klek, Becej, Tuzla (Bosnia and Hercegovina) and Osijek (National team Croatia).

The competition was succesfully organized by Karate Club Zrenjanin and Karate Associtation of Vojvodina under the auspecies of city of Zrenjanin and Agroziv company.

Doctor Ivan Lukic was in charge for medical issues during the competition and Referees Mr.Srdjan Lagundzija, Mr.Jon Petresku, Mr.Jasa Grujin and Mr.Nikola Skoric were in charge for tatami justice.
